Kenly is a town in Johnston and Wilson counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It was named for a railroad official. The population was 1,339 at the 2010 census. Kenly is the home of the Eastern North Carolina Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) State Executive Offices and Conference Center. ==History== Boyette Slave House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
